Impressive Online Engagement for CeX Pixe Photo Booth

While hosting the 2013 MCM London Comic Con Pixe Photo Booth, the Pixe team met representatives of CeX , the popular chain of stores for an expansive range of technology and entertainment products. Recognizing Pixe’s unique ability to reach out to event attendees by providing a fun, social experience, CeX contracted Pixe to provide a mobile-photo booth to its long-term customers and fans at the 2014 MCM London Comic Con.

CeX turned out to be an exciting and great brand to work with. The Cex team fully embraced the concept of real-time social selfies by placing an enormous Cex-branded octopus throne at their booth entrance, and giving away CeX cash vouchers as prizes in crowd-drawing contests.  Alongside Pixe’s social media promotion of the contest, CeX lit up the social media scene by live-tweeting photo booth pictures and reminding visitors of the contest over three days at the event. We were impressed by how responsive CeX was to their online fans. There were threads of conversations about booth location, popular photos, and contest announcements both on Twitter and Facebook.

This inspiring effort from CeX to provide a memorable experience to their customers was amply reflected in the impressive post-event ROI report generated by Pixe. In fact, the CeX ROI report blew us away! Not only did the individual Pixe photo booth photos bring thousands of online fans to the CeX Facebook Page, but CeX also boosted their online presence through constant and attentive interaction with fans.
  • Captured 839 photos
  • Reached 910,291 Facebook fans
  • Generated 1,230,179 online impressions
