The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) organized the popular “IMake America” initiative over 11 action packed days this past summer at the Iowa State Fair.
The internationally-acclaimed Iowa State Fair annually attracts more than a million people including key policy makers and contributors to the world economy.
Thousands of attendees came together and shared their photos via Pixe Social at AEM's location to show their support for the policies that will expand and preserve the economic growth of our great nation.
657 #ImakeAmerica #PixeSocial photos engaged 4,075 people and increased AEM's reach to 206,741 fans on Facebook! At the end of the activation, AEM expressed their appreciation of Pixe Social's role in the success of this campaign in these words:
“The Association of Equipment Manufacturers used the Pixe
Social app for our I Make America event at the Iowa State Fair. We found the app to be extremely
user-friendly and the support from Pixe Social to be top-notch. We were very pleased with the level of
engagement we received from using the app and the subsequent sharing and
increased exposure for our brand. We’d
definitely recommend the Pixe Social tool to enhance an event presence and to
give social channels a boost.” - Marieke Westerma, Marketing Communications Manager, AEM
We thank the AEM team for the appreciation and look forward to our next initiative with them!
This past month has been mixed emotions for people visiting
the Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. With kids going back to school soon, this
is their one last chance to enjoy the summer of 2105 at a fantastic location.
But making the proverbial hay while the sun lasts, guests who attend the Ferrari World are making the most of the opportunity
to get their photo clicked while sitting in a classic red Ferrari California. The largest indoor and first Ferrari theme park, Ferrari World has teamed up with
Pixe Social once again to bring an amazing fun ride experience with the #2Cool4School campaign.
At the end of the month long event, a number of lucky winners will be
picked based upon their photo shared to Instagram with the hashtag #2Cool4School. The Prize?
The winner will be taken to school in a Ferrari California on their first day. How cool is that!
Ferrari World's partnership with Pixe Social has always delivered impressive results, but this

Leah Lashley from RealPage shared her appreciation with us:
“PixeSocial
added a fun, interactive element to our user conference. We had long lines for
our company-branded PixeSocial photo booth during our peak customer event,
which helped double social engagement for our brand among users who have been
historically late to the social media game”.

nights get cooler and we start to see more autumn themed colors. This also
means that we see more Halloween candy, pumpkins and scary monsters displayed

attraction that has won Popsugar’s Scariest Haunted Houses in America’s list and featured on the Travel Channel. Bennett’s Curse, a Baltimore, Maryland based company has teamed up with Pixe
Social again this year to show you the screams and fright in real time.

a custom banner. The user receives a copy of their photo that is hosted on the
social media sites of Bennett’s Curse. At the end of the activation, the top 3
photos with the most likes will win an array of tickets to their Krampus
Haunted Christmas attraction.

This past week, from June 28th to July 1st, the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) hosted their 2015 conference in Las Vegas. As always, the show that hosts exhibitors within the realm of Human Resources, including 4imprint and Stevens World Wide Van Lines, was a huge success.
4imprint and Stevens World Wide Van Lines utilized the capabilities of Pixe Social’s photo booth-based sharing solution to engage attendees on the show floor and to make a splash on leading social media. It was interesting to see how these two exhibitors used slightly different, but equally effective, engagement strategies with their Pixe Social solution to create an engaging experience for attendees.
4imprint used the more traditional approach of the photo booth, with a concierge available take photos of the guests using a hand-held mobile device. 4imprint used inviting props and a custom backdrop visual, which motivated attendees to avail a great photo sharing opportunity.
Stevens World Wide Van Lines, on the other hand, utilized a selfie stand that enabled attendees to take photos on their own selfies and use their own creativity to click a fun photo.
Both approaches were successful in providing a memorable experience to guests and fans, and in creating significant post show buzz about these exhibitors’ brands.

After providing the official social photo sharing solution for CES 2015 last month, we began to think about what trends in the consumer technology market will transfer over to the events industry for the New Year. Technology has drastically transformed the way event managers and attendees
communicate over the past few years, so what do they have to look forward to? Read on to find out.
Digital Experiences. Event attendees, especially millennials, crave well-rounded experiences at trade shows. Uninteresting educational sessions and irrelevant speakers won’t hold their attention for long, so why not leverage the number one distractor? Digital devices such as smart phones and tablets provide another outlet for event organizers to connect with their attendees. Online polling platforms, live social media chats, and interactive photo contests are all powerful activities that will contribute to a memorable show experience.
Integrated Platforms. As of 2013, custom apps are almost a requirement for any show trying to compete on a global level, but how can your event stand out? Show apps should be the sole resource for attendees to ask questions, look up booth information, schedule meetings & sessions, and network. Attendees should not have to download multiple apps or open more than one webpage to answer every question they have throughout your event. Integration is the answer to the modern attendee’s desire for simplification and convenience when attending an event.
365 Event Connection. With social networking apps like Facebook and Twitter connecting us to our friends, brands, and celebrities 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, why shouldn’t event organizers reach out to their potential attendees all year-long as well? Event organizers can now leverage one app that becomes an umbrella for all of your association’s or industry’s needs. Also attendees can have access to year-round updates via newsletters, blogs, social media posts, press releases, and more.
Next month, Pixe Social heads to EXHIBITORLIVE to showcase our interactive social photo sharing technologies. Our innovative solutions will be on display at a number of locations throughout the event, including an exhibitor booth, the New Product Showcase, a featured speaking session with CEO Rajiv Jain and as the official social photo solution for EXHIBITORLIVE 2015.
Tradeshow and event organizers in attendance are invited to visit booth 1271 to learn how our solutions can provide engaging attendee experiences and capture treasured guest moments. Our tablet-based social photo sharing solution, Pixe Encore, has contributed to boosting many brands’ and events’ viral reach by 4-5 times in a matter of days.
Our most recently developed solution, Pixe Snap, a state-of-the-art consumer engagement app, will be featured in the EXHIBITOR New Product Showcase (NPS). The NPS is the launching pad for some of the event industry’s most inventive new products, including Pixe Encore. As winner of the 2014 Buyers Choice Award at the NPS, our solution was recognized as one of the top products of the year.

Event marketers have known for some time that taking photos of customers at trade shows and corporate gatherings enhances the attendee experience and delivers myriad benefits to the company. In the age of social media, digital photos are not only popular; they’re proven drivers of online engagement. With green screen technology, companies can increase the value of event photos even further.
Green Screen—also referred to as Chroma Key—technology allows photographers to superimpose subjects onto the digital background of a photo. For example, a booth visitor or conference attendee who poses in front of a green screen can appear in the photo as if he or she is elsewhere—on the top of a mountain, flying through space, or on the cover of a magazine.
Besides being a form of entertainment for guests, green screen-enhanced photos provide companies with a number of advantages:
Creativity. Green screen effects offer companies an unlimited amount of creative latitude to tell a story, make a statement or delight customers. It allows them to use the photos as extensions of a larger marketing strategy.
Branding. Adding background imagery and messaging that aligns with the firm’s brand positioning makes every photo more impactful, especially when they’re shared on social media.
Savings. Physically creating a set with props and a background at an event is not only more expensive than the digital alternative, it is far less flexible and much more time consuming. Green screens are stationary and low maintenance, while digital background images can be changed and alternated with every photo.
Excitement. The green screen set up during an event attracts visitors. Most attendees understand what the green backdrop is and when passersby see the photo shoots taking place, they are naturally drawn into the activity.
Control. Green screen effects help companies control the quality and intent of the photo. Without a digital background, firms have to rely more heavily on the subjects to impart the meaning or the context of the photo.
Social photo booth software, which automates photo taking and facilitates online sharing and engagement, is becoming more popular in event settings. The photos that result are shared and posted far more often than text-only messages. And, when digital imagery is added to the background of the photos, they become even more shareable and the company’s message along with them.
On a typical day at an automotive dealership, many new and shiny cars are sold to delighted customers. They drive away feeling happy and excited, but usually there is no way for the dealer to tap into their excitement and spread the message for their brand’s promotion.
Within the past year, Pixe Social has changed the social promotion landscape for a number of automotive businesses by extending the relationship with those customers through online interaction.
Sales associates at Bel Air Honda have fostered long-term relationships with their customers by capturing their memorable moments with the tablet-based Pixe Social solution and sharing the photo on the Bel Air Honda Facebook Page. The 396 photos taken and shared online have shown potential
customers just how much care and dedication one could experience by choosing “a better way” with Bel Air Honda.
Take a look below at the impressive results gained by this successful partnership between February 2 – December 31, 2014.
Our newest social partnership in the auto industry is with Texas-based dealers at Waxahachie Autoplex and Waxahachie Ford. For almost two months, the sales team has leveraged our solution to jump start their social media marketing. Clients at both locations have enjoyed showing off their new purchases as well as some exciting free giveaways including a flat screen TV!
In this short amount of time, Waxahachie Ford has benefited greatly from the social sharing power of the Pixe Social’s solution. Customers have expressed their appreciation for the quality in salesmanship and of the cars through ‘photomonials’. The following infographic displays the extended reach and engagement with social fans for the dealership while using our solution.
If you want to see similar results for your automotive dealership, make sure to set up an appointment with us or stop by booth 6652W at NADA Convention 2015.
Last week, Pixe Social powered the official CES 2015 Social Sharing Solution by sharing photos of event attendees showing off their favorite tech gadgets in real time on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The solution wasn’t just an engaging opportunity for attendees; popular brands exhibiting at the event also became brand ambassadors for the Show by posting their ‘photomonials’ from their booths with the help of our roaming social team.
Inspired by our partnership with IMEX America in 2014, the social roaming team gave online fans instant access to show experiences in real-time through the CES Pixe Social feeds. Leading brands such as Audi, Wall Street Journal, Polaroid and AOL promoted their event presence and new products via the Pixe Social solution. Take a look at some of the best brand photos on Instagram below.
